An older Pajero or Galloper still has plenty of trips left in it. This Almont guard helps protect the gearbox and transfer case you rely on, with 6 mm or 8 mm duralumin shaped for the V20-V50 and Galloper Super Exceed. It mounts with the matching engine guard to extend protection beneath the centre of the vehicle.
A front guard cannot cover every part of the driveline. This plate continues protection beneath the gearbox and transfer case, making it a useful addition for rocky tracks and rough crossings. It relies on the matching engine guard, so the two parts need to be planned together.
Choose PDM20C6 for 6 mm SportDuty or PDM20C8 for 8 mm HeavyDuty. The required engine guard is PDM20B6 or PDM20B8; it is a separate purchase.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

6 mm SportDuty suits lighter off-road use. We would choose 8 mm HeavyDuty for a heavily equipped vehicle and more demanding rough-ground trips.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
