Give your Defender's fuel tank a substantial alloy barrier before you head onto rough tracks. This Almont 6 mm duralumin guard protects the tank area on the 110 application, helping you travel with more peace of mind underneath.

The plate weighs 8.5 kg and is intended for the matching Defender 110 tank arrangement. It is not compatible with the original rear tow hitch, so that rear-end specification needs checking alongside the tank itself.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength protection with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, making it a worthwhile addition to a vehicle you want to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

For the listed TD5/TD4 applications, add the Defender front guard or 90/110 gearbox and transfer guard, choosing each for your exact vehicle.
Wash off mud and road salt after use. Almont recommends pressure washing at least annually, or two or three times a year for regular muddy or salty use, and checking bolt tightness annually. Follow the fitting instructions when refitting a guard after maintenance.
The manufacturer excludes the original rear tow hitch from this guard's application.
This is for the matching original tank arrangement. Do not assume a larger replacement tank has the same dimensions or mountings.
The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
