A Tundra makes it tempting to take more equipment and travel further. This Almont guard gives the gearbox and transfer case proper protection underneath, with 8 mm certified duralumin made for the XK50 application. It is a useful addition when your pickup spends time on rutted forest roads and rough access tracks.

This 10.5 kg HeavyDuty plate adds a substantial barrier beneath the transmission. It mounts together with the matching Tundra front guard, so fit the pair together or add it after the front guard is in place.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
