Whether it wears a Toyota badge or a Lexus one, the 100-series platform grounds out in the same place: the transmission tunnel. This Almont HeavyDuty plate covers the gearbox and transfer case on manual HDJ100 Land Cruisers and on the Lexus LX 470, using 15.5 kg of laser-cut 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin to soak up the rock steps and dragged crests that would otherwise land on the driveline. One plate, two badges, and a centre section that no longer relies on luck.

The LX 470 is built on the same 100-series platform, so the underside geometry this plate is cut around is shared between the two vehicles.
Order the automatic version instead. The two drivelines sit differently, and Almont cuts a specific plate for each rather than one compromise shape.
Almont's stated toolkit is a 17 mm and a 13 mm spanner or socket plus 5 mm and 6 mm Allen keys, working into the original chassis points.
