Protect the tank beneath your five-door Prado or the specified 4Runner with this Almont 6 mm duralumin guard. It adds a substantial barrier under the fuel tank, central differential and centre-lock mechanism, helping you enjoy rough tracks with less worry about what is underneath.

The 11.5 kg plate is the long-body guard in this Almont range. It is worth choosing the correct body version: the three-door KDJ125, KDJ155 and GDJ185 use a different tank plate. The certified duralumin construction combines substantial protection with lower material weight than same-size steel.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

For a KDJ120, KDJ150 or GDJ180, the separate rear shock guards add protection around the lower rear shock area; choose the version for your model. The rear shock guards require TIG spot-welding of their mounting supports to the suspension link.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The N280 4.0 V6 application is listed for this guard, alongside the N210 and the stated five-door Prados.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
