From a lightly equipped weekend truck to a permanently loaded tourer, the right springs make a difference. This 40 mm BP-51 kit gives the 2016+ Hilux Double Cab three constant-load choices and independent compression and rebound adjustment. The aim is a ride that works with your equipment, on the drive to the trail and once you get there.
Choose from the 0-300 kg, 300-600 kg and 600 kg+ spring options below. The three versions share BP-51 damping with separate compression and rebound adjustment. Springs for a heavily laden truck are not automatically better on a lightly equipped one.

Internal oil passages allow a more compliant response around normal ride height, with damping increasing towards the ends of the stroke. That gives the shocks a way to manage small disturbances and larger movements differently. Independent compression and rebound adjusters let you refine that response for your surfaces and normal load.
This is a BP-51 suspension kit with the selected load-rated spring package for Toyota Hilux Mk8 and Mk9 Double Cab models from 2016. The nominal lift is 40 mm. It is not a universal Hilux kit for other cab styles or earlier generations.
Have the suspension fitted and aligned, with preload and initial damping set for the equipment on your Hilux. You can then adjust compression and rebound at the shocks without removing them. Start with the supplied application settings and make small changes; the highest settings are not automatically the most comfortable. The actual lift depends on the load and vehicle condition.
