Between the axles of a Vigo Hilux, the gearbox and transfer case hang at exactly the height that rutted crests and rock steps reach. One hard centre strike there can mean a cracked casing, an oil trail and a tow - which is why this area gets plated before problems, not after. This Almont plate covers it in laser-cut EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, in SportDuty 6 mm or HeavyDuty 8 mm to match how hard the truck is used, mounting to the Vigo's existing chassis points.

A third more material where square-edged strikes land. Almont recommends the thicker grade for heavy vehicles and continental overland routes across desert and rock; lighter-use trucks are well served at 6 mm.
