The second-generation BRZ and GR86 finally got the 2.4 boxer the chassis begged for - and it still inhales through a muted standard air box. This MST Performance cold air intake system swaps that restrictive box for precision-engineered aluminium pipework with a high-flow filter, designed to accelerate airflow with minimal turbulence. On a naturally-aspirated sports car, intake note is half the drama: this kit lets the flat-four sound like it is actually working. Fits 2022-on BRZ and GR86 2.4 models, with all fittings for a direct OEM-replacement install.
A high-revving naturally-aspirated engine communicates through its intake, and the standard setup deliberately muffles it. MST's design brief - faster air, smoother flow, less restriction, top-quality components - gives the FA24 a voice that builds with rpm. The kit ships with its high-flow filter, so the whole front of the intake is dealt with in one install, on standard cars or tuned ones.
For the 2.4-litre second-generation cars from 2022 on - both the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 are covered by this one part. First-generation 2.0 BRZ and GT86 owners need the MST kit for 2012-2021 cars instead. Confirm your generation and the part number before ordering.
