Thirty years on, the 80 Series is still the truck people take to the hardest places, and the hardest places aim for its nose. This Almont front skid plate for the HDJ80 and FZJ80 puts 8 mm of laser-cut EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin across the front underside, catching the rock ledges, rut edges and hidden stumps that strike first on a climb. It comes in four versions - original bumper, ARB, AFN or a winch-equipped front - so the plate follows the shape of whatever your 80 is wearing.

That is what the WINCH version exists for. If you run an ARB or AFN bar instead, order the plate cut for that bar, winch or not; Almont plates fit with a winch in place.
The plate is designed for the factory holes and threads. On a truck this age, inspect and clean the mounting points first, and treat any seized fixing before install day rather than during it.
