Three Toyotas share this weak spot: on the FJ Cruiser and the 4Runner N210 and N280, the gearbox and transfer case hang at the lowest part of the mid-chassis, exactly where rock crests and deep ruts make contact. This Almont HeavyDuty plate spans that area in 8 mm of laser-cut EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, 13 kg of sacrificial alloy that takes the scrape or the square-edged hit before the driveline does. One part number covers all three trucks, manual or automatic, bolting to the original chassis points with steel brackets supplied.

No. Almont plates are not compatible with modified transmission or anti-roll-bar mounts, diff-drop kits or body lifts. Standard mounts with raised suspension are fine.
It does not. The plate covers both transmissions on all three vehicles, so the only check that matters is the model and generation.
