The annex extends the Esperance 2 setup with a room approximately 2.3 x 2.6m and up to 2m high. That is useful space for changing, organising equipment or creating a sheltered area beside the tent. The installed height depends on the height of the tent mounting arrangement, so allow for that when planning your campsite.

The grey-and-black colour scheme complements the tent, and the 200GSM poly-cotton fabric has a fire-retardant treatment. That treatment is a fabric characteristic, rather than permission to use flame or cooking equipment inside the annex. Keep cooking and heating appliances outside the enclosed fabric space.
The annex is a separate accessory, so you can add the extra room when you want it and use the rooftop tent on its own for shorter stops.
Position the vehicle so there is room to set out and secure the annex on suitable ground. Think about access to the ladder and doors, where your chairs or kitchen will sit and whether the entrance gives you the privacy you want.
After use, remove dirt and dry the fabric before long-term storage. Packing it away dry helps keep the room fresh for the next trip, especially after wet weather or a damp campsite.
