A JB50 Jimny clears obstacles that stop trucks twice its size, but its front underside still leads every climb and takes the first hit when a crest bites. This Almont front skid plate armours the 1998-2017 Jimny's nose in 6mm certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin at 9.8 kg, so rock edges and ruts scrape along Spanish-cut alloy rather than the front of the little 4x4's driveline. Steel brackets and pre-installed bolts fix it to the original chassis holes, with Almont's 3-year warranty against cracking behind it.

Almont recommends 6mm for light 4x4s, and at around a tonne the Jimny is the lightest 4x4 in common lane use; the plate spreads and deflects hits the bodywork was never meant to take.
