A steel bar and winch change the load your front suspension carries every day. OME 4000 is a front coil choice for the corresponding Toyota applications, selected with the matching dampers and front accessory load to achieve the intended ride height.

For the corresponding 2015-onwards diesel Hilux application, 4000 gives approximately 40mm lift with the listed steel-bar or bar-and-winch load combination. That application excludes the 2023-onwards Rogue, GR Sport and wide-track versions. Other Toyota applications have their own engine, load and damper requirements.
In this Hilux installation, the coil-seat helix must face away from the sway bar to maintain clearance. Use the spring-seat spacer/height settings specified for the actual accessory load and chosen OME strut.
Micro-alloyed spring steel, controlled forming and a durable black powder-coated finish give the coils a consistent shape and corrosion-resistant surface. The coils are double scragged to reduce residual stress, shot peened and formed on computer-controlled mandrels for consistency. They are designed and manufactured in Australia.
The 4000 specification is 103N/mm spring rate, 17mm bar diameter and 385 / 385mm A/B free height. Free height is measured before installation; it is not the amount the vehicle will be raised.
These coils are specified for the corresponding MT64 or Nitrocharger Plus combination, and the regional product includes coil isolators. The 4005 coils share a 103N/mm rate but have a 10mm shorter free height; that difference is not a promise of exactly 10mm less installed lift on every vehicle.
Have the finished suspension checked for correct seating, travel, clearance and alignment. The vehicle's legal gross weight and axle limits remain unchanged by a spring replacement.
