Park somewhere comfortable and put the panel where it gets the sunshine. With suitable extension wiring, the portable design lets you keep your vehicle in shade while the panel sits in the sun. The adjustable legs help you angle it towards the light, and you can reposition it as the sun moves or avoid shade from trees and roof equipment. That helps you make better use of daylight at camp. Extension wiring and a suitable charging system are chosen separately.
The panel is rated at 200 W under standard test conditions. Actual output changes with sunlight, temperature, shade and angle. Its 21.45 V open-circuit rating and 18.2 V maximum-power voltage make it suitable for a correctly matched solar regulator or compatible BCDC solar input.
