An older 4x4 Daily is worth protecting if you want to keep enjoying what it can do. This Almont 8 mm HeavyDuty front guard covers the radiators and steering bar on the Turbo Daily 40.10 4x4 from 1990 to 1997.

The 10 kg guard gives these exposed components a high-strength alloy barrier against rough-ground contact. Certified duralumin keeps material weight below equal-size steel and will not develop red rust where a scrape marks the plate.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
