Hanging at the centre of the driveline, the transfer takes the crest strikes and rock contact that decades of overloading roads dish out - and a cracked transfer case ends a trip anywhere. This Almont plate shields it with 11.5 kg of laser-cut 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin across the 1999-2024 HZJ, VDJ and GRJ 71, 73, 76, 78 and 79, bolting to the original chassis points with steel brackets.

Bolt-on work into original holes and threads using the supplied brackets - Almont's stated toolkit is 17 mm and 13 mm spanners plus 5 mm and 6 mm Allen keys.
