Classic 70 Series trucks have spent three decades being driven where transfer cases get hit, and the supply of replacement drivelines is not getting better. For 1990-98 HZJ 76, 78 and 79 vehicles, this Almont plate puts 11.5 kg of laser-cut 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin under the transfer box, catching the crest strikes and dragged rocks that the centre of a solid-axle Cruiser collects. The plate wears the damage; the increasingly precious hardware above it does not.
