The classic 70 Series has outlived its spare-parts supply in half the world, which makes preventing front-underside damage cheaper than repairing it by an ever-wider margin. This Almont plate protects original-bumper trucks across two generations - HZJ 70, 71, 73, 74, 75, 78 and 79 built 1990-98, and BJ 70, 71, 73, 74 and 75 built 1984-92 - with 11 kg of laser-cut 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin. Rock ledges, rut walls and stumps hit the plate; the thirty-year-old hardware behind it stays dry and working.

The plate uses the factory holes and threads. On trucks of this age, run a tap or penetrating oil through the mounting points first so seized fixings are found before the plate is under the truck.
No - fitting is bolt-on with the supplied steel brackets and pre-installed bolts on an unmodified chassis.
