Front control arms lead the way into every obstacle a Hilux Revo tackles: they hang low behind the front wheels, collect the rocks the tyres flick up and clip the rut walls the truck straddles. This Almont two-piece kit bolts 6 mm laser-cut EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin over both arms, 5 kg in total, so the scrapes and stone strikes that would gouge the wishbones and their bushes land on replaceable alloy instead. Fitting is bolt-on, straight onto the 2016-on Revo.

No - Almont states this kit's installation is bolted, using the arms' existing geometry, so it goes on and comes off with hand tools.
The front plate covers the centre; the arms sit outboard of it, directly behind the wheels, and take their own hits from thrown stones and rut edges the plate never sees.
