The narrow bridge plates give you several ways to connect suitable equipment to the BASE Rack, including a matched rooftop-tent clamp arrangement. Four plates and the specified M8 hardware are supplied, ready for the mounting method your equipment requires.

The rooftop-tent clamp arrangement is rated at 75 kg per set of four plates. A clamped pair is rated at 5 kg; the stud-plate bolt arrangement at 2 kg; and the specified alloy-block arrangement at 10 kg. Those ratings belong to different installations and cannot be swapped between them.
The bolt-mount option needs the separate 6980060 stud-plate kit; the alloy-block option uses 1780200 or 1780610 mounts. The BASE Rack limit of 25 kg per cross slat and the rack and vehicle limits still apply. For large tents it may be necessary to fit the tent to the rack off the vehicle before refitting the rack.
The kit contains four narrow bridge brackets, four M8 x 50 bolts, four M8 Nyloc nuts and eight M8 washers. Use the specified hardware and mounting guide, with fastener checks after installation and at regular intervals.
