The ARB 1780810 rooftop tent mount kit provides a low-profile attachment for a compatible tent on your BASE Rack. It is a dedicated mounting arrangement for that job, with a double-bolt design for greater clamping force.

The mounts connect the compatible tent and BASE Rack through the specified arrangement. The low profile helps keep the mounting tidy, while the double-bolt design provides the clamping force required by the kit.
The mounts can remain on the rack when the tent is removed. That is useful if the vehicle does daily work between camping trips and you want to refit the tent using the same matched mounting positions.
