Extra fuel or water can make a longer trip easier to plan. This ARB BASE Rack holder gives two matching cans a dedicated upright position above the vehicle, freeing space inside for the equipment you want to reach more often.

The powder-coated steel holder mounts to the BASE Rack dovetail using aluminium clamps and forged steel eye nuts. The supplied strap secures the cans in the holder, while protective backing helps reduce rubbing at the contact areas.
The holder is designed for 10L and 20L jerry cans, with clearance for thicker plastic cans. Use a matching pair in the double holder so the securing strap can hold both evenly. Mount it between two slats, rather than concentrating both cans over one rail. A provision for a water-can tap can make a suitable water container easier to use at camp.
Count the filled cans, holder and other equipment within the permitted roof and rack load. The BASE Rack limit is 25kg per cross slat. Keep the restraint tight, inspect it before trips and recheck it while travelling. For fuel, choose a suitable approved container and follow the requirements for carrying it.

The design allows for thicker-walled plastic 10L or 20L jerry cans. They still need to sit correctly in the holder and be restrained securely.
