A winch turns a heavy 4x4 Sprinter from the van that waits for recovery into the van that recovers itself, but only if it has somewhere structural to mount. This Almont winch support for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter W907 and W907 VS30 4Matic is fabricated from 6mm ThyssenKrupp F105 steel, the same steel family Almont uses for its Sprinter recovery hardware, and gives the winch a mounting platform tied into the van's front structure. Almont recommends having its original-bumper front skid plate installed alongside, so the nose carries protection and recovery kit as one system.
Pair it with the W907 4x4 front skid plate or VS30 4Matic front skid plate, and add the recovery point kit for strap work.
