The Sport C is RECARO's first all-electric 8-way aftermarket sports seat and the first model in its current sports-seat generation. This is the 3-door version, which adds a manual forward-tilting backrest so passengers can reach the rear seats.

  • All-electric 8-way adjustment covering backrest, fore-and-aft, seat height and seat angle.
  • On the 3-door version the backrest tilts forward manually for access to the rear seats. The 5-door version does not have this function.
  • Fully upholstered headrest as standard.
  • Sporty side bolsters in the backrest and on the seat bottom.
  • Specially formed shoulder support.
  • Extendable seat cushion.
  • 4-way lumbar support.
  • Belt slots for a 4-point belt; also suitable for use with a 3-point belt.
  • Ultra-slim backrest design that frees up rear legroom.
  • Easy-to-operate switch pack.

Comfort and adjustment

  • Lumbar support, backrest angle, seat height, seat-to-pedal distance and seat surface angle are all electric; seat surface length is adjusted manually.
  • The low hip point means the seat does not intrude into battery installation space, which RECARO highlights for electric vehicles.

  • A vehicle-specific baseframe is listed as an accessory at additional cost and is not included.
  • The ignition must be switched on to operate the electric functions.

Approval and safety

  • The Sport C carries the AGR seal for back-friendly products.
  • AGR (Aktion Gesunder Ruecken / Campaign for Healthier Backs) seal is carried by the Ergomed E, Style Topline XL, Sport C and Podium.
