A body lift should not leave you making do with a nearly-right front guard. This Almont plate is made for body-lifted Touareg 7L and Cayenne 9PA applications, protecting the radiators, steering, engine and front differential in 8 mm duralumin. You get a dedicated guard for the way your vehicle has been modified.

A body lift changes the relationship between the body and chassis. This is the dedicated front plate for that application, rather than the standard-body guard. It weighs 20 kg and gives your lifted vehicle substantial protection beneath the components you want to keep clear of rocks and rough ground.
The material is a large part of what makes Almont protection worth considering. Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin combines high strength with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, helping it stay a worthwhile long-term addition to your vehicle. Mud and road salt should still be washed off, including from the separate steel brackets and fixings.

For a 7L or 9PA without a body lift, choose the separate standard-body front guard. On a body-lifted petrol vehicle, add the petrol gearbox and transfer guard with its required matching front guard.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
No. This version is for a body lift. A suspension lift alone does not create the same application.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
