If your Transsyberia runs the tubular Jandakar bumper, it deserves underbody protection made for that installation. This Almont guard protects the gearbox and transfer case with 8 mm certified duralumin, giving you more reassurance as you use the car on rocky tracks and longer trips away. It fits with the required matching front guard.

This is the guard for your Transsyberia's Jandakar installation. The 13 kg HeavyDuty plate covers the gearbox and transfer case and mounts with the matching front guard, giving you protection beneath the centre of the car as you cross rocky sections and uneven crests.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
Yes. The Jandakar transmission guard uses linked mountings with the matching front guard, which is sold separately.
This version is for the tubular Jandakar bumper application. Standard-bumper cars need the correct engine-specific alternative.
The protection plate, matching steel mounting supports, pre-installed fixings, certificate and instruction manual, and Almont sticker. Other guards linked on this page are separate purchases.
The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
