The V8 versions of the Touareg 7L and Cayenne 9PA run a twin-catalyst exhaust layout that changes what sits under the transmission - so Almont cuts them their own plate. This gearbox and transfer skid plate fits the Volkswagen Touareg 7L 2004-2010 and petrol Porsche Cayenne 9PA 2003-2010 with the V8 twin-catalyst arrangement, covering the low-slung gearbox and transfer case with 14 kg of 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin. The exhaust keeps its route; the transmission gets its armour; the V8 keeps its voice.
Confirm your exhaust layout first: this version suits the V8 twin-catalyst arrangement, while V6 diesels and other engines take the standard gearbox and transfer plate. On many models the gearbox plate's mountings link to the matching front skid plate, so plan the pair together. Raised suspension is fine; body-lifted vehicles need Almont's dedicated body-lift versions instead.
