This Almont guard protects the fuel tank and AdBlue electronics area with 6 mm certified duralumin, giving you more peace of mind on uneven pitches and access tracks.

This SportDuty plate weighs 13.5 kg and is shaped for the original fuel tank and matching AdBlue-system installation. It is a useful addition for a Boxer regularly driven onto rough ground, whether you use it for work or as the van that takes you away.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
