The HEL Performance non-thermostatic oil filter sandwich plate provides an oil feed/return for remote oil components such as an external oil cooler and is offered with a range of center bolt options to cater to your specific needs. This sandwich plate allows the unrestricted flow of oil to an external oil cooler throughout the period whilst the engine is running, resulting in a decrease of oil temperature as it circulates. Unlike our thermostatic sandwich plates, this non-thermostatic version has been designed for applications where oil temperature control is not necessary. External oil coolers are equipped with cooling fins and are often found with the addition of an electric fan to facilitate heat dissipation.
Our oil filter sandwich plates feature M22 x 1.5 threaded inlet and outlet ports and can be easily adapted with M22 x 1.5 to -8 (AN08) or -10 (AN10) male adapters, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of AN fittings, hose and adapters. The threaded center bolts are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and are available in M20 x 1.5 or 3/4"-16 UNF sizes to accommodate most common spin-on oil filters.
