The R51M's rear differential is the lowest fixed point on the truck, and no amount of careful line choice keeps it off every rock shelf forever. This Almont rear differential skid plate wraps the housing's strike face in 8mm certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin at just 3 kg, so the drop-off that would crack a bare casing and drain the axle leaves a scrape on replaceable alloy instead. It is the smallest plate in the Pathfinder range and the one that guards the most stranding-prone failure point.

The fuel tank plate covers the tank ahead of the axle, and the V6 engine plate handles the front on EFI trucks.
