The plate weighs 9.5 kg and protects the transfer case beneath the vehicle. It is a useful addition when your trips include rocky lanes or deep ruts, with the matching front guard forming part of the shared mounting arrangement.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength protection with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, making it a worthwhile addition to a vehicle you want to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Fit it with the matching Terrano II and Maverick front guard. If you need the separately listed automatic-specific plate, choose the Terrano II automatic transfer guard for that application.
Wash off mud and road salt after use. Almont recommends pressure washing at least annually, or two or three times a year for regular muddy or salty use, and checking bolt tightness annually. Follow the fitting instructions when refitting a guard after maintenance.
Yes. The transfer guard uses a linked mounting arrangement with the matching front guard, so the two need to be fitted together.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
