A pickup or Pathfinder used on rough ground needs protection beyond the front of the engine. This Almont guard covers the gearbox and transfer case on the listed Nissan and Renault applications, with a choice of 6 mm or 8 mm certified duralumin. It mounts together with the required matching front guard.
The early D23 application is specifically 2015-2017; later D23 trucks use another guard. For the stated vehicles, SportDuty weighs 12 kg and HeavyDuty weighs 13 kg. Both protect the transmission area, with the thicker 8 mm option our preference for a heavily equipped truck and more demanding rough-ground travel.
PDN30C6 is 6 mm SportDuty at 12 kg. PDN30C8 is 8 mm HeavyDuty at 13 kg. Manual and automatic transmissions are included for the stated applications.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
That series uses the separate later guard. This product's D23 application is 2015-2017.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
