A polished finishing touch for your custom exhaust
The Kooks MUF-019 gives a custom exhaust a polished stainless oval muffler with a centre/centre pipe layout. Its longer body needs room, so use the full dimensions to position it neatly under the car and keep the pipe joints and surrounding parts clear.

Allow for the body and the necks
The oval body is 18" long and measures 5-1/4" by 8-3/8". The complete muffler measures 21-3/4" overall. Plan the installation around the overall length, rather than treating the body length as the full fitting space.
Straight pipe alignment through the centre
Both inlet and outlet are centred, with a 3" inside diameter at each end. Match the muffler to the pipe route and available clearance. The polished finish gives exposed parts a bright metal appearance; actual sound depends on the whole exhaust.

No. The body is 18" long; overall length including the necks is 21-3/4".
Are both connections centred?
Yes. This is a centre-inlet, centre-outlet layout.
Will the dimensions tell me how quiet it is?
They establish the fitting footprint. Noise and tone depend on the engine, catalysts, crossover and other exhaust parts.
