Get the pipe route right on your custom exhaust
A centre/offset muffler can help your exhaust fabricator place the inlet and outlet where the car needs them. The Kooks MUF-018 combines that layout with a stainless oval body and 3" inside-diameter connections, making the pipe route and available clearance the key choices when planning the installation.

Plan around the complete footprint
The body is 12" long and measures 5-1/4" by 8-3/8" across the oval. Overall length is 15-3/4", including the necks. Those are different measurements: allow for the full length at the joints as well as the width and depth of the body.
Choose by layout as well as diameter
The inlet is centred and the outlet is offset. Match that arrangement to your pipe route before cutting or fabricating the exhaust. Sound will depend on the complete engine and exhaust combination; the dimensions alone do not establish a noise level.

Frequently asked questions
What does centre/offset mean?
The inlet is in the middle of its end face and the outlet is offset. It changes the pipe route compared with a centre/centre muffler.
Will it fit every 3" exhaust?
Match the connection size, overall length, body clearance and pipe positions. A 3" diameter alone does not confirm space for the muffler.
Is this supplied as a pair?
It is sold individually. Choose the quantity for your exhaust layout.
