Change your exhaust without a welded muffler joint
This Kooks clamp-in oval muffler gives a custom 3" exhaust a polished stainless component that can be fitted without welding its joints. The centre inlet and centre outlet keep the pipe route straight through the middle of the body, while two supplied band clamps complete the slip connections.

Check the space under your car
The oval body measures 4-1/2" by 7-1/2", with a 12" body length and 16" overall length including the necks. Use the overall length when planning the pipe joints and the body dimensions when checking clearance to the floor and surrounding parts.
Slip connections with the clamps included
Both ends have a 3" inside diameter to slip over compatible 3" tubing. The two 3" band clamps are included. Support the surrounding exhaust properly and check the joints for leaks after fitting. The finished sound depends on the engine and the rest of your exhaust.

Do I need to weld it in?
This is the clamp-in version, with slip connections and two band clamps supplied. The surrounding pipework must have the correct size, position and support.
Does 3" describe the outside diameter of the muffler necks?
It describes the inside diameter at the inlet and outlet, allowing them to slip over compatible 3" tubing.
How many mufflers are supplied?
