This Old Man Emu suspension kit is for an L200 carrying less than 300 kg in the rear and running without a front bar. The matched front and rear components provide an approximately 25 mm lift, with the aim of improving road handling and off-road comfort together. It is an upgrade you can appreciate on the drive to your destination, as well as once the tarmac ends.

The kit supplies a pair of front coil springs, two front struts, two rear leaf springs, two rear shocks, two leaf-spring bushes and four U-bolts. You are replacing the main spring and damping components together, giving the suspension a matched set of parts rather than changing one end in isolation.
The under-300 kg rear-load version suits Mk8 and Mk9 Double Cab L200 models from 2015 onwards, without a front bar. Include tools, a canopy and other regularly carried equipment when assessing your rear load. A heavier rear installation or added front bar needs a different spring selection.
Professional fitting and a wheel alignment help you get the benefit of the new suspension. Final ride height depends on the vehicle, its existing suspension and the weight fitted to it; the quoted lift is approximate. Spring load ratings do not change the vehicle's legal gross weight, axle limits or payload.

Use the weight of the equipment and loads you regularly carry at the rear. Heavier-rated springs are selected to support a heavier load; choosing them for a lightly loaded truck can compromise the comfort you are trying to improve.
The lift is approximate. The vehicle's existing ride height, spring condition and accessory weight affect the final result.
The vehicle's original gross-weight and axle limits still apply. This is a suspension upgrade, rather than approval to exceed those limits.
