An older L200 still earns its keep loaded, and a loaded truck drops its fuel tank closer to every stone and crest on the track. This Almont fuel tank skid plate for the Mitsubishi L200 2.5 DID 2005-15 hangs 9 kg of certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in 6 mm SportDuty grade under the tank, so the component that would otherwise end the day on a recovery truck sits behind sacrificial plate instead.
Bodywork bends and carries on; a tank splits and strands you. Almont cuts this plate to the L200 floorpan, bolts it to the original chassis holes with steel brackets and pre-installed bolts, and designs the mounts to absorb impacts and vibration. It slots in behind the 2005-15 front skid plate and alongside the gearbox and transfer plate for a covered run from nose to tank.
