These Kooks headers use 1-3/4" primaries and 3" outlets for the specified Coyote-swap arrangement in a 1979-2004 Mustang. The exact application includes 10R80, 6R80 and MT82 transmissions, with the matching bellhousing, chassis hardware and installed-engine conditions below.

Use the specified mounts and starter
The installation uses an OEM-style bellhousing, MMKM-2.1 K-member, standard 4.6-litre mounts such as 6-504-BL and a 1997-2000 4.6 Mustang starter, SA848RM or equivalent.
Allow for the conversion work
Remove the OEM transmission-crossmember mounts; a Stifflers crossmember is recommended. The headers exclude 2015+ Coyote engines with charge-motion-control valves, Ridetech SLA airbag suspension and the OEM rubber rag-joint steering shaft. Gaskets and header bolts are included.
