Match your 351 headers to its raised-port heads
These Kooks headers are made for a 9.5-deck 351 small-block Ford in a Fox Body Mustang, using the listed raised-port heads and 3" inline bolt pattern. The 1-7/8" primaries and 3" outlets give that conversion a dedicated long tube exhaust arrangement.

Choose for the correct cylinder heads
The supported head families are Canfield, Avenger, AFR225, Z304 and Pro Topline. This raised-port 3" inline pattern is different from the stock-pattern adapter-plate arrangement.
Plan the chassis hardware and engine position
The installation requires a UPR or BMR Standard Series tubular K-member, Powermaster 9503 starter and Flaming River steering shaft. A Stifflers crossmember is recommended. Engine position and lowering mounts affect fit and ground clearance, and mount shims may be needed. Gaskets and bolts are included.
