This Almont front skid plate for the Mercedes-Benz X-Class with the original bumper hangs 12.5 kg of 8 mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin under the leading edge, so the first contact of a lane, ramp or hidden boulder lands on HeavyDuty plate. It keeps a premium truck looking and driving like one after the ground gets involved.
This version is cut around the original bumper - if your X-Class wears an aftermarket bumper, check the bumper model with us first, as Almont makes bumper-specific versions across its range. A recovery winch can be fitted before or after the plates, raised suspension is fine, and body lift kits are not compatible. Continue the cover with the engine skid plate directly behind it and the fuel tank and AdBlue plate at the rear.
