The 4Matic hardware that gets a VS30 Sprinter across rough ground hangs in the middle of the van, where rock crowns and rut edges strike hardest. This Almont plate covers the gearbox and transfer case on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter W907 VS30 4Matic with certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin in a 6mm SportDuty or 8mm HeavyDuty choice. A strike becomes a scuff on replaceable plate rather than a cracked casing and a recovery flatbed. Steel mounting brackets, pre-installed bolts and a certificate and instruction manual are supplied, and the plate carries a 3-year warranty against cracking.
Start the run with the VS30 4Matic front skid plate and close it with the 4x4/4Matic fuel tank plate.

No. Pre-VS30 W906 and W907 4x4 Sprinters share a different gearbox and transfer plate. This one is shaped for the VS30 4Matic driveline.
Almont steers heavy vehicles and long overland use to 8mm, and lighter mixed use to 6mm. Most built-out 4Matic vans sit in 8mm territory.
