The lower rear shock mounts on an all-wheel-drive Sprinter sit right out at axle level, where rocks, ruts and trail debris clip them long before anything else is in danger. Bend or shear a damper mount two days into a trip and the van limps home on a cratered ride. This Almont plate set shields those rear shock absorber mounts on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2 W906 CDI 4x4, Sprinter 3 W907 4x4 and Sprinter W907 VS30 4Matic. Unlike the duralumin plates in the range, these are made from 4mm steel, weigh 4 kg and mount with the supplied hardware.
Guard the neighbouring housing with the Sprinter 4x4 rear differential plate, or cover the tank with the 4x4 fuel tank plate.

Almont builds this particular guard in 4mm steel rather than the AW-5083 duralumin used for its main plates. You get a compact, tough cover shaped for the shock mounts at only 4 kg.

It protects the standard mount locations. If your van runs relocated or modified shock mounts, the plates will not line up, so check with us first.
