The G-Class carries its gearbox and transfer case right where rock steps and ridge lines run under the chassis, and a cracked casing there stops even a G. This Almont gearbox and transfer skid plate for W461 PUR Professional and W463 models shields that central driveline with 8mm certified EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, Almont's HeavyDuty thickness for heavier vehicles, at 9.5 kg. The plate is laser-cut in Spain and lands on the original chassis points with steel brackets and pre-installed bolts, so a serious G build gains real underbody metal without touching the vehicle's structure.

Almont matches thickness to the strike zone: the central driveline on a heavy 4x4 like the G takes direct rock hits, so it gets the 8mm HeavyDuty cut, while the tank area runs 6mm.
The part covers the W461 and W463 platforms without a gearbox split; if your G has a non-standard driveline conversion, check with us first.
