A willing V8 makes even the everyday drive more enjoyable. Our Ford Mustang GT 5.0 ECU remap for 2015-2017 focuses on throttle feel and usable mid-range performance from your S550 Coyote, with custom tuning for your fuel and fitted hardware.
Enjoy the response as you accelerate through the gears
We refine fuelling, ignition and torque mapping for your 5.0L Coyote V8, giving usable mid-range response the same attention as peak performance. Both standard cars and those with intake or exhaust modifications are tuned for their fitted hardware and intended fuel.
Potential gains of up to 35 HP and 45 Nm are available on suitable 5.0L V8 applications. Fuel, hardware, condition and starting calibration affect the result. Temperatures, logs and the tuning method also affect the outcome; these gains are not guaranteed.
Our custom tunes include up to four revisions in the first 30 days, followed by log reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months. Your feedback helps us refine the calibration and check how your vehicle is running after you have had time to use it.
Physical upgrades for your vehicle
We also offer physical upgrades for most vehicles.
Adding headers to your S550
Our Kooks GREEN-catted header and connection kit, 1151H432 lets you upgrade the front exhaust on your 2015-2017 GT while retaining a compatible rear system. The headers, catted connections and OEM adapters come together, and we can develop the calibration around the complete setup.
The kit and fitting are separate from the tune. If you are keeping your Mustang standard, no header purchase is needed.
If you're looking to take yours further, tell us what you have in mind. We can help you choose suitable parts and plan the tuning around them.

What you get
Remote
Custom remote calibration with the tuning device, required licence and delivery included. You keep the device.
Hub Dyno
In-person custom calibration on the car hub dyno, with controlled-load testing and vehicle data guiding the work.
How remote tuning works
With remote tuning, we can work with you without a trip to the dyno. First, we confirm support for your vehicle and check its fitted hardware and the fuel you plan to use. We then guide you through reading and loading the calibration with the device. Send us the requested logs and your feedback so we can check the response and refine the tune.
Remote includes the tuning device, required licence and delivery. You keep the device.
Collect any requested data in a suitable, safe and lawful setting, following the tuner instructions. If a reading or a running concern needs attention, tell us before continuing so it can be assessed.
Your dyno session
Choose Hub Dyno for an in-person session on the hub dyno. We use controlled-load measurements and live data to check the response as we adjust the calibration, with your own vehicle and fitted parts present throughout.

Get ready for your tune
Have any warning lights, misfires or running faults addressed before tuning. Tell us the fitted parts and intended fuel, then use that agreed fuel during calibration and afterwards. Speak to us before later hardware or fuel changes that affect the tune; further calibration may be needed.
Tuning is a vehicle modification and can affect warranty cover. Discuss it with your insurer and warranty provider before the work.
Support after your custom tune
Once you have had a chance to use your vehicle, tell us how it feels. Our custom tunes include up to four revisions within 30 days, plus log reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months to check how everything is running.
Talk to us about your tune
Tell us about your Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8, its fitted parts and what you would like from it. Get in touch with us and we will help you choose the right tuning route.
Frequently asked questions
Does it suit a daily-driven Mustang?
Yes. Tell us how you use the car so response and everyday drivability receive the same attention as full-throttle performance.
What gains can I expect?
Potential gains are up to 35 HP and 45 Nm for suitable 5.0L Coyote V8 applications. Your fuel, hardware, condition and starting calibration affect the outcome. These are increases, rather than total engine output.
Should I choose Remote or Hub Dyno?
Choose Remote if you want guided custom tuning without travelling for an in-person dyno session and can follow the tool and logging instructions. Choose Hub Dyno if you want your car with the calibrator for direct measurement and adjustment under controlled load.
Can you tune my Mustang with an intake or exhaust fitted?
Yes. Give us the exact parts list before booking. We account for fitted intake and exhaust parts when tuning. If you plan further changes, let us know so we can agree the best order for the work.
What if I change parts after tuning?
Tell us before fitting parts that affect engine operation or fuelling. The calibration was developed for the current combination, so further tuning may be needed.
What support is included after the custom tune?
Up to four revisions within 30 days, followed by log reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months to check how everything is running.
Will it affect my warranty?
It can. Treat the tune as a vehicle modification and discuss cover with your warranty provider and insurer before the work.
