Give the front differential, steering bars and radiators beneath your Land Cruiser or LX450 a substantial duralumin barrier. These Almont 8 mm HeavyDuty plates cover the stated HDJ80/FZJ80 and Lexus LX450 applications, with Original, WINCH, ARB and AFN versions.
The ARB and AFN versions weigh 8 kg each; Original and WINCH weigh 8.5 kg each. Choose the option for your actual bumper and winch arrangement, so the guard's shape matches the front of your vehicle rather than choosing by weight alone.
This is certified AW5083 H111 duralumin: a high-strength aluminium alloy that keeps material weight below steel of the same size and thickness. You get a substantial barrier beneath the vehicle, and a scratch in the plate does not turn into red rust. It is still worth keeping the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware clean, especially after winter salt or muddy trips.

Add the separate 80 Series/LX450 gearbox and transfer guard for the matching application; follow its fitting instructions. For an HDJ80 without the original rear locker, the optional rear shock guards have 12V/24V versions and require TIG spot-welding of their mounting supports to the suspension link.
Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.
ARB and AFN weigh 8 kg each. Original and WINCH weigh 8.5 kg each; fitment, rather than weight alone, determines the correct version.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
