A good Land Cruiser or LX470 is worth looking after. These 8 mm HeavyDuty duralumin plates guard the cooling system, front differential, engine and steering, so taking it onto rough tracks feels less worrying. Choose Original for an HDJ100 or Lexus LX470 with its factory bumper; the AFN, ARB and ACAYX versions are for the Toyota HDJ100 only.
Choose Original for the factory bumper on a Toyota HDJ100 or Lexus LX470. The AFN, ARB and ACAYX versions are Toyota HDJ100 options. All four use 8 mm HeavyDuty alloy. The ARB option has SKU PDTA8ARB, also referenced as PDT10A8ARB.

Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you strong protection without carrying the weight of a steel plate the same size and thickness. This high-strength aluminium alloy is a good choice for a vehicle already carrying passengers, fuel and camping gear: you get a substantial guard underneath while keeping the added weight down.
The duralumin plate won't rust when stones scratch its surface. The alloy forms a natural protective oxide layer that helps resist corrosion, a lasting benefit when you use your vehicle through wet winters and muddy weekends. It's one less thing to worry about underneath a truck you plan to keep.
At 8 mm thick, this HeavyDuty plate is our choice for heavier vehicles and demanding long-distance trips over rough ground. It puts a substantial barrier beneath the components listed below.

The plate bolts into your vehicle's original holes and threads using the supplied steel supports and fixings, with no need to drill new mounting holes. The certificate/instruction manual is included to guide the installation. Raised suspension is compatible when the original mounting points remain in place.
The plate needs the original chassis, frame, axle and suspension-stay anchors, transmission mounts and stabiliser-bar supports. Body lifts and diff-drop kits change that relationship and are incompatible.

Choose the version for your bumper. Original fits the Toyota HDJ100 and Lexus LX470 with their factory bumper. AFN, ARB and ACAYX are Toyota HDJ100-only options. All four use 8 mm HeavyDuty alloy.
Your skid plate comes with matching steel mounting supports, pre-installed fixings, a certificate and instruction manual, and an Almont sticker.
Give the plate a pressure wash once a year, or two or three times a year if you use it in muddy or salty conditions. Check the fixings for tightness annually as well. Follow the supplied instructions when refitting it after maintenance.
Almont's three-year warranty covers cracking of the protection itself. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
