This Almont gearbox and transfer guard helps protect the driveline beneath your manual HDJ100 or Lexus LX 470, putting 8 mm certified duralumin between it and rough ground. The plate weighs 15.5 kg and fits with the required PDT10A8 front guard.

The gearbox and transfer assembly can meet the ground as the truck crosses a crest or rocky section. A dedicated centre guard gives those components their own barrier. This HeavyDuty plate is a useful investment in a vehicle you rely on for longer trips, with a separate reference for the automatic HDJ100.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength alloy protection without the material weight of steel of the same size and thickness. The plate will not develop red rust if its surface is scratched, so it is a good choice for a vehicle you intend to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Pressure wash the protection at least once a year, or two or three times a year if you regularly drive in mud or road salt. Check bolt tightness annually and follow the fitting instructions when refitting a plate after maintenance.

The duralumin plate will not form red rust when scratched. Wash off mud and road salt to help prevent other corrosion and to look after the separate steel brackets and fixings.
Almont provides three years of cover against cracking of the plate. Dents, deformation and damage to the vehicle are excluded.
