Your Defender is made to leave the tarmac. This 8 mm Almont front plate helps you enjoy that ability with protection beneath the radiators, front differential, engine and steering box, rather than leaving those components to take the first scrape.

The HeavyDuty duralumin plate weighs 9.5 kg and covers the listed TD5 and Puma TD4 applications across Defender 90, 110, 130 and 147. It brings several vulnerable front-underbody components behind one substantial guard.
Certified AW5083 H111 duralumin gives you substantial, high-strength protection with less material weight than steel of the same size and thickness. A scrape will not start red rust in the alloy plate, making it a worthwhile addition to a vehicle you want to keep and use. Wash off mud and road salt to look after the alloy and the separate steel mounting hardware.

Match your Defender body and engine to the listed application and retain the original chassis and mounting arrangement.
Designed for the original chassis, axle, suspension-link, transmission and stabiliser mounting arrangements. Raised suspension is compatible where those original supports are retained. Body lifts, differential-drop kits and altered mounting supports are incompatible.
For a 90 or 110, add the matching gearbox and transfer guard. The separate 130/147 gearbox and transfer guard suits those longer applications.
Wash off mud and road salt after use. Almont recommends pressure washing at least annually, or two or three times a year for regular muddy or salty use, and checking bolt tightness annually. Follow the fitting instructions when refitting a guard after maintenance.
