If you are going to fit one Almont plate to a Discovery 3 or 4, it is this one, for two reasons. First, the front underside is where lanes, ledges and towing yards make contact before anywhere else. Second, this is the anchor of Almont's centre-line system: its gearbox and transfer plate cannot be fitted unless this front plate is already on the truck. Cut in 8mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin and offered in two versions that include front and bumper-area coverage, it is where a Discovery underside build starts.
