Ruts that look shallow from the cab still reach the middle of a Defender, and the middle is where the gearbox and transfer case live. A hard drag over a rock crest there is not cosmetic: it is oil, casings and a truck that stops driving all four wheels. This Almont plate covers that run of the chassis with 8mm EN AW-5083 H111 duralumin, cut for the Defender 90 and 110 with TD5 or Puma TD4 2.2/2.4 power. It weighs 12.5 kg and takes the contact the transmission should never see.

Yes. Almont lists one part for the Defender 90 TD5, 90 TD4 2.2 and 2.4, 110 TD5 and 110 Puma TD4. The 130 and 147 take a separate long-wheelbase part.
It is weight carried low and central, bolted to the chassis. Almont advises checking bolt tightness once a year and pressure washing the plate after muddy or salty use.
Non-original raised suspension is accepted by Almont. Body-lift kits and altered transmission or anti-roll-bar mounts are not.
